Hvilke HD-DVD film har I, hvilke ser I frem til og hvilke er pt. de bedste udgivelser ?

Serenity er OK på HD DVD, men så heller ikke mere, synes jeg. Der er mere WOW-effekt over nogle af de andre jeg har, som f.eks. Mission: Impossible III. Selvom Blazing Saddles nok ikke er en 'WOW' film, såen visuelt, så synes jeg også, at den rigtig godt viser, hvad HD kan, trods filmens relative alder.

Jeg startede lidt forsigtigt, med først at købe et par brugte HD-DVD film i en køb/salg/bytte-biks, og så købe Toshiba HD-E1 afspilleren hjem på forsøgsbasis. Men derefter gik det til gengælg også stærkt. Da jeg havde set forskellen imellem "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" på standard DVD og HD-DVD, og "Casino Royale" på standard DVD og blu-ray, var jeg bare solgt. Ikke flere standard-DVD'er til mig fra ny af. Nul! (Disney-film dog som en mulig undtagelse)

Jeg synes det er svært at trække nogen titler frem, og fremhæve dem som 'de bedste'. Derimod kunne jeg godt finde et par titler på HD-DVD frem, som ikke har imponeret så meget. Men gennemgående synes jeg nu, at WAUW-effekten har været pænt til stede ved de fleste film på listen.

Størst forskel imellem HD- og Standard DVD:
'Casino Royale'
'Eragon'

Mindst forskel:
'Sky High' (men det er jo så bare et cadeau til Disney-udgivelserne i al almindelighed)
Ultraviolet
Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow

Jeg ser naturligvis frem til udgivelserne af "Pirates of the Caribbean", "Matrix" og "Lord of the Rings".
